AI day 2022 is done and I'm excited by what I saw... did not expected them to have a working prototype for this presentation... let alone one that can walk, pick up a box, carry it and place it on a desk. The really impressive part however was to see how they took the full self driving AI from their cars and adapted it to drive the humanoid robot. The way it could already see and understand it's environment. Building a mechanical robot body has been done... but where Tesla has a leg up on anyone else is the AI that drives the thing. To top it all off they already have the next iteration in the works and it's pretty far along... not to mention all the other amazing things they had to show. Safe to say I'm blown away. The speed at which they are moving is mind boggling. I truly hope that Tesla wins the race to AGI. Scary to think of a future where facebook, google or some government got there first.
